Sweet Smell of Success is a 1957 film noir about a shady newspaper columnist JJ Hunsecker (Burt Lancaster) who employs press agent Sydney Falco (Tony Curtis) to end the relationship between JJs sister Suzie (Susan Harrison) and local Jazz player Steve Dallas (Martin Milner). Its an underrated gem from the 1950s directed by the equally underrated Alexander Mackendrick (The Ladykillers), and this week Harry & Shane will discuss what they think of the film on The golden Hour Film Podcast: Film Club.
